Fanime 2009 Review

So guys I have to say that Fanime was more then what I expected. I highly suggest going there if you ever can. I went with Sir Delish. You guys might remember him or not. He joined when it was first open but mostly posted on the OOC? Anyways we went Friday - Monday and stayed at the Fairmont hotel. Which was really nice. it was just one block away from the center so it was nice walking outside back and forth.

We also met up with a few friends; Tim-Chang from the hot youtube channel "Random Produections". Emory who is a Bishonen at Yaoi con, Fanime and works there as well. Kirk a new Bishonen. Aki from 4Chan. So it was a fun trip.

Friday -

Me and Sir Delish left for Con. four hour drive of listening to crazy techno music and such. When we are a few miles until the car we can already see a few cosplayers walk to the con. Get to the hotel and changed in to are cosplasy!

So ja the first day was really fun. We mostly just walked around the center, wanting to get a good feel of the place. Sir Delish forgot his pass at the hotel so we ran back to get, the line took about 20 minuets or so but it went by fast.
When we got out the photo taking began. Too many people took photo's. I can still see the bloody flash @.#
After that we ended up going to the shopping district. Which had EVERYTHING you could have ever wanted, Even cosplays XD
We saw Waldo! It was funny because he was hiding behind people and items and every time someone yelled "There's Waldo" He would ran away!

Then to the art gallery which had some of the most amazing artist, mostly from Deviant art. Prices where good.
Bumped in to some goth kids.
Ate at Jonny Rockets!

Met Raptor Jesus!!!!!!!

Saw DMC at the movie station.
And hanged out with Aki.

Called it a night.


Saturday


Me - Asuka from Neon Genesis Evangelion again
Sir Delish - James / Team Rocket from Pokemon again. He switched from Mellow once of twice.


While walking back down to the cone we noticed the protesters. The protesters come every year saying that anime was evil and we where all going to hell. It was just odd.
Luckly anonymous came with their V mask and danced around then, rickrolled them and such. Good times.

First thing we did was run back to the shopping center and got these amazing ball join dolls. Ah I love them. We ended up going to a ball joint discussion group and after that we went to a Jrock discussion. Which was fun because all we did was rant about Dir en Grey, Hyde, Hide, ect/

We met up with Emory, Tim and Kirk later that day. They needed a place to stay so we let them stay at the hotel with us.

Later that night was "Adult time" Where we ended up supporting Emory and Kirk at the yaoi bingo / action where they had to strip and get sold to crazy girls. I'm not sure how much they where sold for because Me Sir Delish and Tim left for the Rave.

The Rave was amazing. 11 pm to 4 am every night! They had 4 awesome djs. They had tow rooms One for rap and hip hop and another room for Techno and EMB. The Techno one was of course the most crowded one! Duh! Glow sticks in every hand, body's pressed together so yo couldn't move, and lights. It was a good rave.

Left the rave to chill at the hotel. Me Tim and Sir Delish jumped in to the bathtube and had a poor peoples hot tube fun XD

We all went back up, this time without the portesters.

The gatherings where today. We had two to go to. Inuyasha and Sacanime.

After the gatherings we went back to the hotel, Tim and Kirk where taking their leave for the day so they could return here.[ Er where I live] early because they worked. Emory is staying at the hotel with us.

Me and Sir Delish went to the rave again! Dances for while, met up with my older brother. Watched him at the Karaoke contest! There where amazing singers !

Died on the beds, and fell asleep.
